Hi, I’m Tatjana!

Originally from Germany, I bring a background in exercise science, sports medicine, and somatic mindfulness to mental wellness. I am currently completing my Master of Social Work (MSW) through Boise State University with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Outside of my studies, I am a certified yoga teacher and Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) Facilitator, and I enjoy integrating mindfulness and body-based practices into my work when appropriate. In my free time, you'll usually find me outdoors - walking my dog, running, hiking, exploring nature, or simply enjoying time outside, where I feel most grounded and connected.

My Approach

My passion lies in supporting others through a trauma-informed, person-centered approach while recognizing the vital importance of connection, resilience, and community. I specialize in integrating evidence-based mindfulness and body-oriented modalities to help clients process stress and trauma from the bottom up.

  • Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY): An empirically validated, adjunctive clinical intervention for complex trauma and treatment-resistant PTSD. Sessions prioritize felt interoceptive awareness, shared authentic power, and personal choice without physical adjustments or forced postures.

  • Somatic & Nervous System Regulation: Grounding techniques designed to down-regulate the nervous system and soothe chronic fight-flight-freeze responses.

  • Strengths-Based Social Work Framework: Holistic care that honors each individual's environment, culture, and community context.
