Hi, I’m Kaitlynn!

I take a person-centered, strengths-based, and expressive approach in her work with children and adolescents. I believe that the therapeutic relationship fosters healing and change, and in the ability of every client to self-actualize.

I appreciate the uniqueness of each child, and it is my goal to empower them to be authentic, recognize their strengths, set healthy goals, and develop the emotional skills needed to navigate their world with confidence. As a passionate counselor, I work alongside youth and their families to maintain the highest quality of care and support.

My Approach

I appreciate the uniqueness of each child and it is my goal to empower them to be authentic, recognize their strengths, set goals, and develop skills to navigate their world.

Working with youth requires flexibility, creativity, and connection. I utilize:

  • Expressive & Creative Arts Therapies: Incorporating drawing, games, storytelling, and expressive media to help children explore feelings that are difficult to put into words.

  • Strengths-Based & Person-Centered Counseling: Validating young clients, instilling self-efficacy, and building upon their natural talents.

  • Skill-Building for Emotional Regulation: Practical, developmentally appropriate tools for calming anxiety, managing frustration, and handling social stress.

  • Family Collaboration: Partnering with parents and caregivers to ensure support systems at home match progress in session.
