My Approach
If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, weight loss, or relationship issues, I can help you learn a new way of relating to your difficult thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By opening up to these experiences rather than fighting them, you allow them to simply be there — and when you have them, they are far less likely to have you.
I am not here to fix you. I don't believe you are broken. My goal is to help you begin living a life rooted in meaning and value, rather than one focused on control and symptom reduction.
I utilize person-centered, evidence-based approaches that meet you where you are and help you move toward the life you want.
My current training and areas of clinical focus include:
Internal Family Systems (IFS) — exploring the different thoughts, emotions, and protective patterns that influence how we respond to ourselves and others
Somatic Work — developing awareness of the connection between emotional experiences, the body, and the nervous system
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — developing psychological flexibility and learning to move toward the values and relationships that matter most
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) — an evidence-based approach that can help clients process distressing experiences and reduce the emotional impact of difficult memories
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) — a structured, research-supported therapy for processing trauma and distressing life experiences, helping the brain integrate difficult memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge
