Hi, I’m Chris
I am a dedicated mental health, fitness, and wellness professional with years of experience helping individuals make lasting lifestyle changes that foster growth and healing. I am a past President of the Wyoming Counseling Association and have a strong background in both mental health counseling and athletic performance coaching.
M.Ed. in Counseling at NC State University (2008)
BS in Exercise and Sport Science at UNC Chapel Hill (2004)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC WY- 1198)
National Certified Counselor (NBCC)
Certified Yoga Instructor (SCW)
EDUCATION
My Approach
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, weight loss, or relationship issues, I can help you learn a new way of relating to your difficult thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By opening up to these experiences rather than fighting them, you allow them to simply be there — and when you have them, they are far less likely to have you.
I am not here to fix you. I don't believe you are broken. My goal is to help you begin living a life rooted in meaning and value, rather than one focused on control and symptom reduction.
I work primarily through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) — approaches that meet you where you are and help you move toward the life you want.
